The Higher Being Collective Receives OCS Social Impact Fund Support to Empower Women Across Ontario
Toronto, ON — October 8 2025
Higher Being Collective is proud to announce that it has been selected as one of the 2025 recipients of the OCS Social Impact Fund, an initiative that supports community organizations creating lasting positive impact across Ontario.
Through this funding, the Higher Being Collective will launch its pilot project, Grow With Us — a mentorship and education program designed to empower women from underserved and disabled communities to succeed as entrepreneurs and leaders in Ontario’s regulated industry.

The Higher Being Collective exists to create equity and opportunity for women by providing mentorship, education, and community. We believe that when women rise, industries evolve — and we are committed to building pathways that lift up those who have historically been underrepresented.

About the Grow With Us Pilot Program
Launching in 2025, Grow With Us will support 10 women in Ontario through a year-long pilot program offering:

One-on-one and group mentorship from experienced professionals

Access to education, certifications, and business tools

Training in leadership, finance, and entrepreneurship

Networking and community-building opportunities
-
End-of-program showcase spotlighting participant achievements
Participants not selected for the pilot cohort will still gain access to the Higher Being Collective’s broader network, group mentorship sessions, and community events.
Program Goals
The Higher Being Collective will measure impact through clear, community-focused outcomes:

10 mentees successfully completing mentorship and training milestones

10 mentors actively engaged in 1:1 and group guidance

12 workshops and seminars delivered throughout the program year

100% of mentees completing certification and skills training
-
co-op placements facilitated with partner organizations
-
100+ community members engaged through events, webinars, and collective programming
-
1 final showcase event highlighting participant growth and community impact
These measurable outcomes align with the OCS Social Impact Fund’s goal to help support projects that create shared social value and mobilize knowledge for communities and the Ontario canna sector.
